SCHØNHERR ARCHITECHTS
Copenhagen islands
A wonderful project that reminds us that keeping a porous boundary alleviates the pressure. Architecture is built around the core idea to keep our feet dry; it has also been part of creating an understanding that there is nature and there is us. It has served its purpose, but it seems today we are growing consciously to the fact that there is no distinction.

Today, most of our buildings are mechanically ventilated, which is no good for the environment and us, who have grown used to living in plastic bag-sealed spaces.

Having a porous boundary allows for natural ventilation, as it allows us to work with the natural forces, letting air and water in, rather than isolating ourselves in small protected pixels.

BUCKMINSTER FULLER
The Dymaxion map
Buckminster Fuller did this beautiful project. It reminds us that we are all connected on a landmass surrounded by water and space. Its all about perspective and what perspective we choose to look from; We like that of Buckminster Fuller.

“...we’re all astronauts aboard a little spaceship called Earth.” - Buckminster Fuller"

But most of what we talk about
